April 16 – Clinic with Jane Hamlin at Pirouette Farm in Norwich, VT
Includes semi-private flat lesson, and an afternoon group lesson, lunch included. $90 per rider

July 9-10 - Area I Team Coach Jerry Schurink Training Session for current and future NAJYRC candidates, UMass
This clinic is two days, with 3 lessons total, and will be by application only. It is open to riders at Training level and above, who are
interested in being on the track to NAJYRC in the future. Cost $185 per rider, and includes stabling.

August 20-21: Ashley MacVaugh Clinic at Ledyard Farm, Wenham, MA - POSTPONED
This clinic is open to all Young Rider members Beginner Novice and above. Two lessons on Saturday, one dressage, and one jumping, and a
Cross Country lesson on Sunday. Stabling for Saturday night is included. If you would like to stable Friday night, it will be an extra $40.
Cost $275 per rider.

All Young Riders members are encouraged to come to Young Rider Eventing Camp! It is a great opportunity to meet other Young Rider members, immerse yourself
in your horse for 3 days and get the best instruction available! It’s fun AND it’s educational. Instructors this year include Jane Hamlin,
John Bourgoin, Jerry Schurink and Suzi Gornall. Also, there will be special opportunities to prepare for the GMHA Training/Novec Level 3-Day.

All camp participants must be members of the USEA and the Area I Young Riders Program.
APPLICATIONS for Young Rider Eventing Camp
- Applicant must be a 2011 member of both the Area I young rider program and the USEA.
- Applications will not be mailed to members this year.
- Applications will be reviewed as they are received. They will be considered using the following criteria: qualifications, motivation and goals, maturity, horsemanship skills, attitude and work ethic. If all factors are equal, participation in the Area I young rider program will be considered.
- If accepted, applicant will be sent further information and an invitation to attend camp.
- Checks will be returned if applicant is not accepted or camp is cancelled.
- Refunds will be made after closing date only if spot can be filled from waiting list.
FEE for Young Rider Eventing Camp
$500.00 includes:
- 3 days of instruction working with our top clinicians twice a day.
- Breakfast, Lunch, dinner and lodging for one camper.
- Stabling for one horse. (There will be tack/feed stalls available for use.)
- Fee does not include horse's hay, grain or shavings.
QUALIFICATIONS for Young Rider Eventing Camp
- Applicant and accompanying horse must have successfully competed at the Beginner Novice. We have made exceptions to this in the past for specific reasons. Contact us if you have questions.
- Applicant’s horse must be fit enough for 1 1/2 hour lessons twice a day for three days.
- Applicant must provide all necessary documentation (Coggin’s, releases, proof of appropriate insurance) for his/her self and horse.
