2008 AREA I ADULT TEAM CHALLENGE

The Area I Adult Rider Program is pleased to announce that Groton House
Farm will host the 2008 Area I Adult Team Challenge. The Novice,
Training, and Preliminary team challenges will be held at

Groton House Farm Horse Trials I

June 20-22.

The Beginner Novice and a new, Elementary
team challenge, will be held during the

Groton House Farm Fall Classic
September 28^th.

A special thanks to the Getchells and the Winthrops as well as
Groton House Farm and the GHF Fall Classic organizing committees.

Area I is working to enhance this year's team challenge. We are including
prize money along with significant awards. Start organizing your teams now
and participate in this fun and important competition while winning prizes
and receiving media coverage!

Here's how it works.  Teams consist of 3 or 4 riders ages 22 and older.
You select your team of 3 or 4 riders and announce that team on or
before the event closing dates. Your individual results will be scored and
ranked as usual...as an individual in your assigned division. After
that
your score along with that of your team members will be tallied to
determine the team rankings. Teams must be comprised of competitors
in the same division, e.g., a Novice team, Training team or Preliminary team
for GHF I and an Elementary or Beginner Novice team for the GHF Fall
Classic.
Team competitors are required to be members of the Area I Adult Rider Program.
Membership in the ARP is just $25.00 and allows you many clinic and
training opportunities at a reduced rate as well as competing as an adult team
